Whenever JCD starts to work on a project, a question will always be asked to the client. “What do you want to convey to others?” For YH Spring as a real estate company, the answer was simple-productive and reliable. Therefore, JCD chose the warm hues to setting the tone to the entire office so when people step in the office they will feel comfortable and relax. Colors always play an important role that JCD will incorporated in every project. In this project, the front desk area is the highlight of all. First, the inspiration of the front desk shape is diamond; JCD team thinks that a normal shape front desk is extremely boring. Diamond as one of the hardest natural mineral on earth can also represent the hardiness is the chief essential for success of YH Spring. Second, the figure of the front desk has wood veneer from the bottom to the top ceiling. It represented an old Chinese phrase “Ding tian li di” (feet on ground and hands on the sky) which means an indomitable spirit. JCD wanted to create a sense that in this space, every independent sections can be coexist peacefully. Therefore, JCD picked unifying colors and materials for all the areas. The brown wooden veneers, beige wall papers and rose gold metallic lines are complementary to the space.
